when i woke up that saturday morning, i was bummed to seeing it raining outside. i had a photo session planned and working indoors was not optional for me. i love love LOVE natural light and hate being confined to limited options. i was a little disappointed that we had to do the shoot inside, but not for long. as soon as i got there, there was a wonderful energy. everyone was laughing and having fun. it was great! so much fun to be around! whitney (the leader of the mime praise team), suggested using a spotlight for the shoot. i fell in love with that idea. it was so creative and i LOVED the shadows. these are probably some of my favorite pictures! i loved everyone’s character. it was a joy to work with them and i can’t wait to see them perform in august!!! for more information on the their church, click here!

there’s a lesson for all you photographers, be ready for anything. don’t limit yourself. you may be surprised and LOVE the outcome! :)
